I purchased this sweater probably a year ago from Eloquii and I had to face facts-I am just not a cropped sweater girl. However I just loved this print and couldn’t help but keep this and have had an interesting time finding ways to wear it without feeling like I’m completely putting myself out there. I think this really works with my pleated skirt. Also, that one piece of my necklace being flipped over will forever haunt me.
I can never get enough stripes in my life. Good thing they never go out of style! I paired my Breton shirt dupe with a belt and plaid blanket scarf (a dupe of that scarf that you couldn’t get away from a couple of years ago). I added some jeans and booties and was ready for my family Christmas.

I’ve been looking forward to this metallic and velvet combo since I ordered it last month. I knew this was just what I wanted to wear to Christmas Eve service at church. I love that this skirt is lightweight but not too light that it’s sheer and who doesn’t love a velvet turtleneck?
If you know me, you know that I have a ridiculous amount of useless pop culture knowledge in my head so when I found out about this Troop Beverly Hills sweatshirt, I knew I needed it. I added a Who What Wear Collection polka dotted shirt, skinny jeans, and my trusty Stan Smith Adidas Originals and was good to go. It felt a little 80s/90s but updated in a good way.
Later in the day, I headed to a local coffee shop to meet up with my bestie, Joi. She gave me the cutest book about best friends. We are so excited about what is in store for us in 2017! We’ve got big plans and I’m so happy to be making them with her by my side.
Pleated skirts and metallic colors are very on trend right now so when I spotted this Eloquii skirt, I snapped it up as soon as I could. I paired it with this barely blush chunky sweater and booties for a current, comfy look. Looking forward to dressing this up a bit for the holidays!
This killer dress is back again. I just love this overall print. A floral print in winter is such a lovely change from the basic neutrals I tend to wear, especially during the winter months. This time around I paired the dress with tights and black heels which was definitely needed as it was super cold when I took these photos.

There’s something about this outfit that makes me long for Jordan Catalano to notice me. Slip dresses were all the rage when I was in high school and this is my updated version of what I wore back then. My elevated look is part grunge band, part Olsen twin with the addition of an oversize cardigan. Dress and cardi are from Who What Wear Collection and the mock turtle is from ASOS.
Velvet. It is a reminder of my childhood and they say everything eventually comes back in style. Velvet is back in a big way, my friends. I’m pretty much obsessed with velvet at the moment and this mock turtleneck from Eloquii is no exception. Throw in a fun pair of gold earrings and we have a winning combination. Look for this little love and another velvet gem to make many appearances this winter!

I know you are thinking this post is a little late, and you are correct, but this is what I wore on Black Friday. This year my Black Friday consisted of hanging out with my mom, binge watching the new Gilmore Girls episodes, eating leftovers, and making a couple of purchases online. I was relaxed and happy. Couldn’t be more thankful.
From the moment I saw this dress it was love at first sight. I love the dark floral pattern and the cut of the dress is great for me. I wish it were a tad shorter, down side to being a Shorty McShortShort, but everything else is perfect. I’ve already worn it two different ways and I’m looking forward to figuring out other ways to style it. Plus, my students told me I looked like Adele all day and any day that someone compares me to Adele is a good day in my book.
