Trends alert! This look has so many trends in it: gingham, statement sleeve, white shoes, and the color red! You’ll be seeing a lot of these trends this Spring!
Month: March 2017
Window Pane
What’s black and white and red all over? Me, in this look.
It’s officially Spring, but I’m still stuck in neutrals because the weather here can’t get its act together. I paired this great ASOS sweatshirt with some Old Navy window pane plaid pants and my great ankle wrap flats for a casual but put together look.
Sweatshirt sold out but I’m obsessing over this this and for a Plain Jane look here
Stripes and Metallics
Sneakers, tennis shoes, runners- whatever your preferred term, they have been a huge part of fashion lately. (Want in on a secret- while these Stan Smiths have been all over fashion Instagrams, I hear the Adidas gazelles are the new preferred style!)
Pairing them with one of the “it” pieces of the winter season, the metallic pleated skirt, was a no brainer.

Happy
One thing I’ve learned over the years is a good full midi skirt is great for my figure. I love the bright color of this particular midi from Eloquii. And pairing it with this mock turtleneck just gives it a bit more class, I think. If it’s a little chilly I’d add a jean jacket to complete the look.
Skirt here different but lovely
Cold Shoulder
I decided to join the cold shoulder trend by creating my own version of it. I paired my Who What Wear Collection bardot dress with their trench vest. I like the casual feel of this look- I could wear this to run errands instead of yoga pants and a sweatshirt and be just as comfy.

Runway
I call this my flight attendant outfit. Maybe I look like a mime or gondolier. But, there’s just something about a scarf that makes you feel a bit more chic.

Dressy
LuLaRoe has been a bit of a phenomenon in my area lately. I purchased this dress almost a year ago when basically no one I knew had heard of the company. Now, I couldn’t throw a rock without hitting a person in their leggings.
Anyway, this dress is really comfy and I love the print. I paired it with a simple black blazer and my Topshop flat dupes.
